The National Scientific Program "Low Carbon Energy for Transport and Domestic Use" has been approved by Council of Ministers Decree No. 577 of 2018 and is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science.

This program focuses on a key point in the updated European Strategy - the accelerated development and commercialization of technologies for the storage and regeneration of energy from RES and the capture and utilization of CO2. It is in synergy with the work programs of the Horizon 2020 such as Fuel Cells and Hydrogen, as well as the leading thematic area "Safe, Clean and Efficient Energy".

The EPLUS National Scientific Program will also contribute to maintaining high public confidence in the Common European Objective of the Common Energy Union Framework Strategy.
