The third open meeting for public reporting of the progress in the implementation of the National Scientifiv ProgrammeEPLUS was held interactively in the Zoom platform on June 11, 2021. More than 100 scientists, guests and stakeholders were present. A greeting was given by Deputy Minister Prof. Nelly Koseva. Fundamental scientific achievements were presented, as well as those with potential for practical application, which were implemented in the first half of the third year of the implementation of the National Scientific Programme "Low Carbon Energy for Transport and Domestic Use" (EPLUS). Scientists from the institutes of the Bukgarian Academy of Sciences and Bulgarian universities, which are partners in EPLUS, presented the progress in the implementation of the three components of the program - K1: "Storage and conversion of renewable energy"; K2: "Electric vehicles and hydrogen mobility" and K3: "New efficient materials and processes for carbon capture and utilization". The forum was chaired by Prof. Evelina Slavcheva, a member of the Executive Board of EPLUS and leader of Component 1. The component leaders, ​​as well as members of the scientific team, presented the main results for the progress in the implementation of the work packages of the program.
